This page explains what happens with the information you give us when you join the Yexy waitlist at yexy.com or turn on Yexy text messages. It's short on purpose.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, your first name if you choose to give it, and the language you'd like us to write to you in. Our server also records the date and time, your browser's user agent, and the country (and sometimes region or city) that Cloudflare detects from your connection, so we understand roughly where interest is coming from. We store a one-way hash of your IP address for a short time to prevent abuse of the form; we don't store the IP address itself.
What we use it for
To email you about Yexy: when it's ready, how to get early access, and occasional updates about the product. Nothing else. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Where it lives
Signups are stored in a database on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which also hosts this website. We use no analytics trackers or advertising cookies on this page. A small preference (your chosen language) is saved in your browser's local storage so the page remembers it.
Leaving the list
Email us at [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we'll remove you within a few days. Every email we send will also include a way to unsubscribe.
Text messages (SMS)
If you turn on texting, we store your mobile number and the messages Yexy sends you or receives from you, so Yexy can answer and remember the conversation. We use them only to provide the texts you ask for.
We do not share or sell your mobile number or text message data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We share messages only with the service providers that deliver them (such as our SMS provider, Twilio) and only to deliver them. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts. See our text message terms.
